An Attitude of Gratitude...
I have lived long enough to realize that practicing an "attitude of gratitude" and living life with integrity and serenity is what I am here for.
My Personal Story
The importance of pre-planning funerals was made personal to me when my brother died in our local hospital. He had made payments for 2 years on a 10 year plan, yet my company paid the full funeral amount to the local funeral home within days and their was extra money left over for his widow.

The grief and stress she experienced was lessened considerably because he had pre-arranged.

Candace Lucas - Prince George, BC
Serving people in the Cariboo, from Prince George to Prince Rupert
An "attitude of gratitude" and living life with integrity and serenity is what I am all about...
Candace lived in the Peace Country, Fort St. John and Fort Nelson for many years. In the early years my husband and I worked in the oil patch delivering "drilling mud" to the oil wells.
I have also been a successful entrepreneur in many facets including retail sales and farm parts.
In 1993 my daughter and I moved to Prince George, where I now work in the field of pre-planning and pre-funding funerals.
Hunting, fishing in the summers and down hill skiing in the winter were some of our recreations when I was raising my four children. My three adult sons and one daughter are the pride of my life. I am also blessed with grandchildren, the youngest is my mother's namesake, Cora.
Friends in the Community
Shortly after moving to Prince George I became a literacy tutor through a local program and joined Toastmasters International. Professional Women's Club and Beta Sigma Phi are some of my past interests. Currently I am president of the Kiwanis Club whose mandate is serving the Children of the World. I also volunteer for Hospice Society in a variety of capacities.
The Professional to Trust
Upon moving to Prince George I entered the financial planning field, providing clients with life insurance and investment advice. The hard work and integrity ethic I developed has served me well in this new endeavour.
Many of my clients were concerned about their estate planning and end of life issues, so I decided to specialize in pre-need funeral planning. For eight years I have served the people of the Cariboo, from Prince George to Prince Rupert with a high degree of professionalism and care.
I work closely with the local funeral homes which recommend my services and my company to all who wish to pre-arrange. My office is always open and my car is ready to drive to wherever there is a need.
